About JSERC

The Government of Jharkhand adopted E.R.C Act 1998 vide Notification No. 1763 dated 22.08.2002. After following the due process, the Government appointed Shri S.K.F.Kujur as Chairman of JSERC vide Notification No. 18/urja/246 dated 19.04.2003. Shri Kujur took the oath of office on 24.04.2003.

Chairman: Shri S.K.F Kujur, a member of Indian Audit and Accounts Service, retired as Principal Accountant General, Bihar & Jharkhand.

Shri P.C. Verma has joined as a member (Technical) with effect from 30/09/2004. He has superannuated from Jharkhand State Electricity Board as a Chief Engineer on 31/08/2004.

Smt. Shakuntala Sinha has joined as a Member (Admn. & Legal) with effect from 09/02/2005. She is a Member of Judicial Service and was District & Session Judge at Ranchi. She has superannuated from the post of Senior Law Advisor of Jharkhand State Electricity Board on 28/02/2003.

Shri A.K. Mehta has taken over the charge of Secretary with effect from 20/05/2004.
